On Sunday, April 28 from 5pm we'll be diving right into the world of vegan food and wine alongside our friend Andy (ex Dabbous, Som Saa, Kyms).

We met Andy through a shared passion for original and exciting wines. His project Alter was founded in 2018 in response to the paradox of suddenly becoming vegan, but being completely disillusioned by both the food and the wider culture of veganism in the UK.

Instead, Alter looks at rethinking our expectations of ‘vegan’ food - in particular, its tendency to merely substitute meat and dairy, by looking to cultures around the world who have ideas we can share and be inspired by. 

Andy takes influence from a wide variety of cultures, with dishes from the East - charred oyster mushroom ‘larb’ - to the West - puffed pizza dough, onion ash and olive oil.
We'll be starting at 5pm and there will be a variety of small plates available for sharing alongside vegan wines to pair with.
