Situated in the village of Montrelais at the far eastern edge of the Muscadet zone, in a maritime climate. The vines are ploughed and treated with local plant concoctions instead of chemicals.

In the winery he has a careful approach, with slow-pressing to gain texture in the wines followed by fermentation and ageing in fibreglass.

Historically, Dutch merchants would come to buy their sweet Chenin as the taxes were lower than in Angers, over the French border.
