France: Loire - Atlantic
Melon de Bourgogne
Loire Atlantique, Muscadet - Le Pallet
From Manu & Marion’s South-West facing plots, sloping towards the river. On sandy soils & loam rocks, this vineyard soaks up the sun; a much riper and generous expression of Muscadet. Fleshy, spicy. Made simply in concrete tank, hand picked, pressed directly. Manu & Marion vinify each of their plots in the same manner to express the singularity of each exposition.
Melon de Bourgogne
Loire Atlantique, Muscadet - Le Pallet
Ker Ma is hand-picked from the same plot that yield’s Manu & Marion’s La Croix Moriceau: north facing plots, with freshness and high acidity. Ker Ma sits a little higher up the slope, on amphibolite rock (sea deposits and fossils) Worked simply, fermented in concrete tank. Manu & Marion vinify each of their plots in the same manner to express the singularity of each exposition.
Melon de Bourgogne
Nantes, Muscadet
Light bodied
Organically farmed. Citrusy, rich and mineral. From a prestigious parcel with some of the oldest vines. Arguably the top wine made on the estate.
Folle Blanche
Muscadet, Loire
Light bodied
Grapes picked from the Gros Plant appelation. Fruity with bright acidity and zip. The mouthfeel is creamy and round from lees ageing.
Melon de Bourgogne
Muscadet, Loire
Medium bodied
One of Benoit’s top cuvees, very fine and elegant. A much more generous expression of Muscadet: notes of almond and ripe peach, a little fennel pollen in on the breeze. Creamy mouth feel with bright acidity, almost approaching mango territory as it opens, with that trademark Muscadet saline line pulling it through.
Sauvignon Blanc
Anjou, Loire
Light bodied
Whole bunches have a cold maceration overnight, pressed gently to stainless steel the following morning, aged on the lees for 6 months and bottled in the spring. Clean, fresh and zesty Sauvignon on schist, it's a nifty one.
Loire

FRANCE: LANGUEDOC
A clean, lean Languedoc white, pithy citrus and texture opening into a long, fresh, mineral finish.
Macabeu (100%)
Rivesaltes, Roussillon
Medium bodied
For the last 4 years or so working with Laurent & Melissa at Mataburro, they’ve only had red wines, from red grapes. For the first time ever in 2021 we now have a white from a parcel of Macabeu planted beside the river on alluvial soils by Laurent’s grandfather, 'Memo' has the lightest bit of grip, beautifully saline and pretty.

Grenache Blanc
Souvignargues, Gard
Medium Bodied
A generous, golden wine, stone fruits cut through with a tight line of acidity and a little oxidative complexity.

Germany
Silvaner
Medium Bodied
Iphofen, Franconia
Tesla-coil electricity wound through this one. Cut direct from Andi’s unique Keuper soils, a 45 year old vineyard. Like Bob said: ‘right on target, so direct.’
Muller Thurgau, Silvaner, Bacchus
Franconia, Germany
A blend that took Michael half a year to get right, from a selection of 10 small vineyards. The Bacchus was pressed directly, the Muller and Silvaner were fermented on their skins to extract a little more aromatics and structure. Floral, bright and drinkable. Slightly spicy with a savoury lick, that trademark lychee & stone-fruit that Michael & Melanie are always able to coax out of their varieties is here, waving.
Tiny amounts of sulphur added at bottling (5mg/l) a clean and friendly introduction for 2Naturkinder newcomers.
100% Pinot Blanc
Pfalz, Germany
From the inimitable Brand Brothers: old vine Pinot Blanc grown on solid limestone. The limestone minerality shines through very clearly, pithy limey acidity and green apple notes all rounded out with a very gentle saline edge. An absolute favourite here.
Riesling
Pfalz, Germany
Light bodied
A new name and a new vintage for the much-loved Vom Berg from our favourite German brothers. With an abundance of fleshy peach, lemon and grapefruit, tempered with a flinty backbone.
Single vineyard Muller Thurgau, pressed directly and transferred to large German oak for 9 months before bottling. The wines are fresh, reviving and clean. No added sulphur.

Riesling

Light bodied
Rich and fruity - not your typical Riesling! No sulphur added.
Chardonnay
Medium Bodied
Iphofen, Franconia
The first harvest from a special parcel planted in 2016. Incredibly pure and long, the whole parcel was lost in 2020, so this is currently a one-off!
Muller Thurgau (100%)
Saale-Unstrut, Saxony Anhalt
Medium Bodied
Incredibly mineral, pure Muller Thurgau with delicate, pithy fruit. From old vines on rocky limestone soils, made by two young winemakers in Germany’s answer to the Jura. Raised in oak barrels made by the only cooper in the area, from oak trees growing less than a kilometre from their property.
Pinot Blanc (100%)
Saale-Unstrut, Saxony Anhalt
Medium Bodied
From younger vines (25 years old), the only parcel of theirs with a little clay over the limestone, yielding a little more warmth and earth: this is a fleshy, zesty Weißburgunder, wired with the trademark line of acidity we love in Konni & Evi’s wines.
Melon B
Nantes, Loire
Light bodied
Organically farmed. Lots of richness and minerality with a long finish. One for seafood, or for food by the sea, or for making food feel like you’re at sea.
